ARENA JOB VACANCY

Job Title: Arena Assistant Manager

 

Hours: 39 hrs per week (Includes evenings and weekends)

Duration: Permanent

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Job Description: 

To effectively manage and actively promote maximum usage of the Arena.

Duties: - Assist as required with the management of the indoor football league, to include the preparation of league tables, fixtures, match reports, refereeing, updating website, membership renewal and bookings. Responsibility for the Arena pitch maintenance and preparation for events, also the general cleaning and maintenance of the total Arena area ensuring that it is a safe and secure environment at all times. To plan and organise children’s holiday coaching and children's birthday    parties. To work co-operatively and effectively with both part and full time staff at all times.

 

Necessary role related knowledge, skill and experience:

Completed Qualification in one of the following, Leisure and Tourism, Sports Science or Sports Studies

Ideally qualified to a minimum of Level 1 in coaching

Ideally qualified to a minimum of Level 7 in refereeing

General knowledge and experience of the 5 aside football discipline

Customer Services related experience/background

A minimum of a St Johns Ambulance First Aid qualification

Overall knowledge of other sporting activities,. Athletics, rounders, tag rugby, cricket and uni-hoc

Clear CRB check

Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
